Thanks for visiting my page! Yoni Chava Aesthetics™ is here to help women and men around the world balance themselves spiritually & physically by using Mother Nature & ancient spa rituals. Founded by, Licensed Cosmetologist Tekesha Garland, Yoni Chava Aesthetics was founded to help those men & women not ONLY to become aware of their spirituality & heal naturally but also to raise awareness of the possible dangers of using non-sustainable personal care products that are linked to causing terminal illnesses such as #ovariancancer, #breastcancer, #lymphnodecancer and other aggressive gene mutating illnesses. I know all too well of the battle and suffering of these terminal illnesses being that my mother, aunt and other friends & family are breast cancer survivors I personally want to ensure this awareness is made to you the consumer(s), and readily accessed. The education is here to assist and most of all it is important that together we make a difference for the future.
I also created the Yoni Chava Aesthetics product line through realizing the other health benefits of natural plant based ingredients and holistic methods over the years after battling 100% renal failure in 2014 lead me to this path thus, creating this brand. After completely recovering from and beating the “so-called” lifelong permanent dialysis port, e.coli, staph, trach tube, boullus feeding tube, numerous bedpans, never ending fevers, having to learn to stand & walk again and a four week chemically induced coma. (Listen, I am GRATEFUL that I was given that new lease on life and I wasn’t going to mess that up by not showing my body the self-care that it needs!) It was time for a change and to get my life ON track, decolonize myself and un-learn all that I thought I knew about food, energy, Mother Nature, the Earth, Moon, plants, the human body systems, and yes, my menstrual cycle. It started out with me eating healthier and I did well. But then, over the years I realized that something still wasn’t right. I was still having kidney infections, I had a hernia, my menstrual cycle was very irregular, I had ovarian cysts and lots of pain before and during my cycle. I knew in order to get optimal results for even better health I would have to dig deep and find what I was missing. My husband & I researched hundreds of hours about herbs, extensively. Until, one day I ran across Yoni Steaming shortly after having our son in 2018. Sis, I already knew about the herbs from drinking teas, detoxing and doing spiritual baths when I was recovering from my illness but I hadn’t heard about this!
This was something that I NEEDED to experience. So, I went to my local herbalist (luckily it wasn’t that hard to find being that him & my husband were already acquainted). I purchased all the herbs I needed to do what I thought was the perfect blend. (The original Yoni Chava blend.)
Whew, let me tell you..... I steamed myself for the very first time and that’s all it took! The steam works by applying the moist heat to the pelvic bowl which carries medicinal volatile oils to the exterior tissues of the vagina as well as systemically throughout the entire body via the blood stream. The warmth and moisture increases circulation to the labia, causing it to swell and expose the inner labial mucus membranes. These tissues are very porous and absorbent, and the bloodstream picks up the oils and carries them deeply into the inner reproductive system, including the uterus. Thus, the herbal steam increases circulation, thins mucus and revitalizes the entire system, allowing it to shed old membrane and mucus build-up. Steaming supports the womb to return to her harmonic physical and emotional alignment.
When herbs are heated in water, the healing oils that contain medicinal properties are then released leaving you in a euphoric state of bliss! As I sat there, I instantly felt my reproductive organs shift into their prospective places (toning). I knew that I was doing the right thing for my body and my spirit. A weight lifted off my shoulders that I hadn’t even realized was there! At that moment I knew this is what I was missing....... V-Steaming, Yoni Steaming, Bajos (whatever you want to call it!) Yoni Chava the Brand was born and I was connected one with nature and the universe. I had to tell my family, my friends. I wanted someone else to experience what I had felt in their own way. I literally wanted EVERY WOMAN to steam! (You’ll have to purchase a steam for yourself to find out those other reasons sis.. LOL)
In addition to learning this about my BODY I knew that being a Licensed Cosmetologist that this was something that I could be completely honest about without fear because I know my stuff! And in closing as my friend Tracie once told me, “If one family member or friend has a terminal illness, the family has it as a whole.” So, therefore we must hold eachother accountable and spread this awareness so that we ALL do not get sick..
